Introducing Dreamstar Chasers

When the stars aligned

When the stars aligned

This project began several years ago when BP Macklind was introduced to the world of podcasts and their unique possibilities.  In the summer of 2019 while staying in a house on the Maine coast, Macklind started working on Dreamstar Chasers.  Although his first attempt at bringing the story off the page and into the realm of audio failed, Macklind shelved the story always knowing he would return to it when the time was right.

That time came about four years later when he met a gentleman named Vincent.  Vincent happened to mention his wife was an actor who, believe it or not, wanted to narrate stories and make fun and unique voices for characters within those worlds.  BP Macklin recognized that his moment had arrived.  He pitched his story, Dreamstar Chasers, to Rebecca who very enthusiastically agreed to help him bring this project to life.

Almost immediately after meeting Rebecca, BP Macklind called up one of his dearest friends, Tim Dulin, asking if he would write a song based on his words.  Not only did Tim write an excellent track called “Field of Green,” featured in Episode One, but he introduced BP Macklind to Sam Golden.  Sam is a multi-instrumentalist, a recording engineer, an editor, and more.  Suddenly, as if all the stars finally aligned, BP Macklind found himself writing and producing a podcast.

Knowing he needed lots of help to make this happen Macklind knew that the guidance of his younger brother, Kev, whom BP refers to as his consigliere, was necessary.  And, the rest, as they say, is history.
